TITLE:  System Administrator/ Technical Support Specialist

LOCATION:  Yerevan, Armenia

JOB DESCRIPTION:  Sirtel LLC is looking for a hardworking System Administrator/ Technical Support Specialist for Voice Trader who will provide technical support to customers in diagnosing, isolating, reproducing and fixing complex technical issues. The System Administrator/ Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for the system administration of complex operating systems, for recommendation and configuration of operating systems and system applications.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Communicate clearly and precisely with customers in written and verbal form;
- Maintain accurate and timely records in the Company's ticketing system;
- Troubleshoot problems in real time and provide solutions;
- Perform installation of the server, storage systems and network equipment;
- Keep the office network environment, PCs and server systems to work according to the task;
- Install, configure and monitor Kerio MailServer, PortaBilling system;
- Install, configure and monitor Hosting platform (Parallels Plesk);
- Maintain, optimize and monitor VPN and remote access systems;
- Perform system backups and recovery operations ensuring that systems are backed up on a regular basis;
- Develop procedures to maintain security and protect systems from unauthorized use, acts of nature and user abuse;
- Provide support to IT Department staff and assist with management of IT Department projects.

- At least 2 years of experience in installing, configuring, maintaining and administering Linux OS (RHEL Centos 6,7) and Windows systems;
- Knowledge of VoIP systems;
- Knowledge of installations for security patches, functional patches and version upgrades;
- Ability to quickly obtain new knowledge of specific applications within the environment;
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot issues and provide resolution;
- Good knowledge of English language; knowledge of technical English language;
- Experience with networking technologies which include VLANs, VPNs, switch/ routers, and firewall ACLs (preferably CISCO).
