The Role:
Teach For Armenia is seeking an experienced copywriter to join its team. As a copywriter, he/ she will be responsible for creating written content for the Teach For Armenia Annual report. The Copywriter will work closely with designers, marketers, and other professionals to develop creative ideas and concepts.
The Team:
The Copywriter will report directly to the Head of Marketing, Communications, & Engagement. The Marketing, Communications, & Engagement Department is a part of the External Affairs Division, which also includes the Private Partnerships Team as well as the Public Partnerships Team. Together, the External Affairs Division is responsible for boosting Teach For Armenia’s relations with government stakeholders, donors, collaborators, and supporters. Given the Marketing, Communications, & Engagement Team’s role in sharing our story of impact, it is critical for this department to collaborate across the organization with the Talent Initiatives as well as the Program Divisions.
About You:
As a copywriter, your primary responsibility will be to create written content using Teach For Armenia’s tone of voice effectively communicating its core message. This involves researching, brainstorming, and crafting written material that captures the attention and inspires to take action.

RESPONSIBILITIES
: 
- Responsible for writing a copy of Teach For Armenia’s Annual Report (based on the staff input), by adapting the style of it to the voice of the organization. It will include a lot of work with text, charts and tables.
Note: Teach For Armenia is a growing nonprofit working within a dynamic system. Its team must be agile as it grows in scale. Teach For Armenia is looking for leaders who are resilient and adaptive. That is to say that responsibilities may shift over time.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
: 
- Bachelor's degree in Philology, Linguistics, Journalism, or a related field;
- Proven experience as a copywriter, with a portfolio of writing samples;
- Excellent command of English and Armenian languages;
- Strong writing and editing skills;
- Creative mindset and ability to develop engaging content;
- Ability to work well under tight deadlines.
For this role specifically, Teach For Armenia is also looking for a candidate who possesses the following key competencies:
- Create and polish effective story-telling content through the organization’s core values and achievements;
- Collaborate with different divisions and staff;
- Proofread, edit, and finalize the provided content;
- Conduct research to understand audiences and trends.
