Public TV Company of Armenia (AMPTV) has now launched the implementation of its five-year strategy where the focus is on the vision and concept that Public TV belongs to the public and that citizens should have every opportunity to engage with AMPTV and receive high-quality, balanced and diversified media content. To reach this vision, several key working directions have been identified:
- AMPTV has launched a Media Academy which provides a 5-month theoretical and practical training to those young people who are willing to pursue a TV career in directing, filming and producing. This initiative makes AMPTV more accessible to the public by allowing the Company to prepare high-quality and professional specialists who will stay with AMPTV and ensuring a smooth generational transition within the Company;
- AMPTV is repositioning itself as a television family which is producing diversified content for multiple target audiences. The viewers who are also the taxpayers for Public TV should have access to high quality and diversified content produced specifically for them. Hence, AMPTV is planning to have separate TV streams for various target audiences (news, sports/ kids, etc);
- AMPTV is celebrating its 65th anniversary this year. The events dedicated to the anniversary will last from April 2021 to November 2021. The Company envisages organizing more than a dozen events including opening of parks, holding competitions, street art graffiti in the TV complex, installation of TV booths and scrollers, photo exhibitions, etc.
For successful and effective communications around the above-mentioned, as well as other ongoing projects and programs of AMPTV, the Company needs an SMM Specialist. This is a full-time position, with a period of performance of up to 130 working days in the period of approximately 01 June 2021 to 30 November 2021. This position is expected to work up to 5 days per week.
This position is directly accountable and reports to the Public TV Company of Armenia and ASI. The position is placed within the Public TV Company of Armenia.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: 
- Generate, publish, edit and share social media content on social media platforms;
- Maintain AMPTV pages and accounts on various social media platforms;
- Track and analyze social media analytics to gain insight on the reach, traffic, demographics, and other indicators;
- Coordinate social media promotional campaigns, if required;
- Work closely with designated staff at Public TV;
- Perform other SMM responsibilities, as required.

- Media content posted on various social media platforms;
- Maintain AMPTV pages and accounts on various social media platforms;
- Coordinate social media promotional campaigns, if required;
- Perform other deliverables, as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
: 
- Degree in Journalism, Media and Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or other related fields;
- Proven professional experience in digital marketing and social media;
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop;
- Solid understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.);
- Good understanding of social media analytics;
- Excellent writing and editing skills in Armenian language; knowledge of English language is mandatory;
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Good team work and communications skills;
- Flexibility, ability to work fast to meet tight deadlines.
