ՄՐՑՈւՅԹԻ ՏԵՍԱԿԸ : 

Request for Applications

ՄԱՆՐԱՄԱՍՆ ՆԿԱՐԱԳՐՈւԹՅՈւՆ : 

DI invites interested Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to apply in response to this RFA. The RFA is open to all qualifying CSOs registered in the Republic of Armenia with experience in the field of women empowerment, peace and security. DI reserves the right to fund several or none of the applications submitted, however DI anticipates issuing one grant.
More details about this RFA can be found in the attachment hereto.

ՊԱՀԱՆՋՆԵՐ : 

Organizations must apply individually. DI will not accept proposals from a consortium of organizations. Applicants should demonstrate a solid experience implementing behaviorally focused campaigns, as well as working in women empowerment, gender equality, peace and security, or other related areas.
Applicants may be newly emerging organizations who are working with donors for the first time; well-established organizations with a long history of implementing USAID-funded programs; or organizations somewhere in the middle.

Applicants must:
- Be legally registered or otherwise authorized to conduct business in Armenia.
- Be able to demonstrate potential and relevant capability and performance related to the Project priority areas, and/or successful past performance in implementation of programmatic activities related to the Activity’s priority areas.
- Be willing to enter into a contractual agreement with Democracy International to work together towards fulfilling the objectives of this RFA. Please review Section 1. Award Information, for DI’s grant sample agreement for informational purposes only.
- Be prepared to sign DI’s core of conduct. RFA. Please review Section 1. Award Information, for DI’s code of conduct for informational purposes only.
- Have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI). The UEI is a universal identifier for recipients and subrecipients of Federal awards.
- Agree to complete DI’s Due Diligence form and share requested documentation to determine that the applicant has sound management capacity.
- Be prepared to sign the following required certifications prior to receiving a grant, as applicable. The certifications are attached to this solicitation, in Section 1. Award Information, for informational purposes only.
a) Certification on Lobbying
b) Certification on Prohibition on Assistance to Drug Traffickers for Covered Countries and Individuals
c) Certification Regarding Support to Terrorists
d) Certification Regarding Trafficking in Persons
e) Certification of Recipient
