ПОДРОБНОЕ ОПИСАНИЕ
: 
The USAID South Caucasus Regional Water Management Program (SCRWM) seeks qualified candidates for providing technical assistance to community projects in area of water security in Lori and Tavush regions of Armenia. The purpose of the SCRWM Program is to support effective transboundary cooperation and water management in South Caucasus. This is a multi-year program implemented by Deloitte Consulting LLP and funded by USAID.
The program has four main objectives:
Objective 1: Transboundary environmental and water management networks strengthened at various levels across the South Caucasus.
Objective 2: South Caucasus stakeholders take a harmonized approach to transboundary water governance.
Objective 3: Communities incentivized by introducing new technologies, approaches, and economic models for water use in a way that demonstrates the benefits of improved water resource utilization across borders. water resource utilization across boundaries.
Objective 4 - Responding to emerging opportunities for regional environmental cooperation.
Purpose
The purpose of this Call for Resumes is to build a roster of professionals with experience in the following areas. Candidates who apply to the roster will be screened based on different technical areas. Consequently, the project team will reach out to qualified candidates when the needs for short- or long-term assignments have been identified. Candidates may be requested to work with the technical team or individually, as determined by the project.
Possible areas of technical and advisory assistance may include:
- Water related disaster risk management (soft and hard components).
- Community water systems’ improvement, including potable water, irrigation, hydro-melioration, wastewater management (engineering, feasibility assessment, design/drawing, cost estimation, operation & maintenance, and institutional strengthening)
- Environment management (environmental impact assessment, nature-based solutions, etc.)
- Economic analysis for community-based water initiatives.
- Agricultural and Rural Development.
- Hydrologists (with experience in community-based river basin management).
- SCRWM Program seeks qualified technical specialists skilled in the areas above and encourages Armenia based experts to apply. The future assignments assume extensive travel to regions of the country.
ТРЕБОВАНИЯ
: 
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline;
- Four (4) or more years of experience in the relevant field;
- Professional proficiency in Armenian; fluency in English preferred;
- Experience working in the region of Armenia on similar issues preferred.

- Strong communications skills, analytical skills, and self-motivation;
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills;
- Good verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills;
- Good analytical, problem-solving skills.
