ОПИСАНИЕ ДОЛЖНОСТИ : 

The Armenian Branch of the Association “Medecins Sans Frontieres” seeks a skilled and experienced Translator (English-Armenian) or a professional translation organization to provide comprehensive translation services. The primary responsibilities will involve translating administrative documents, including contracts, from English to Armenian and vice versa. Occasional oral translation services may also be required upon request.

ОБЯЗАННОСТИ : 

- Document Translation: Accurately translate administrative documents, contracts, and other written materials from English to Armenian and Armenian to English;
- Oral Translation: Provide oral translation services for meetings, conferences, or other events as needed;
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all translations are clear, accurate, and culturally appropriate;
- Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion;
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to understand context and ensure translations meet the organization’s needs;
- Timeliness: Complete translation tasks within specified deadlines and manage multiple assignments efficiently.

ТРЕБУЕМАЯ КВАЛИФИКАЦИЯ : 

- Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Armenian (both written and spoken) with a strong understanding of grammar, syntax, and idiomatic expressions;
- Experience: Proven experience of minimum of three years in translating administrative documents, contracts, and other professional materials. Experience in oral translation is a plus;
- Education: Relevant translation certifications or qualifications;
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work;
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion;
- Cultural Sensitivity: Understanding of cultural nuances and ability to adapt translations accordingly;
- Professionalism: Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Legal Documents: Familiarity with legal terminology and documents is an advantage.
