ОПИСАНИЕ ДОЛЖНОСТИ
: 
Chemonics seeks a strong leader to head its communications and learning strategy for the anticipated USAID-funded Economic Foundations for a Resilient Armenia (EFRA) Activity. This anticipated project will enhance Armenia’s economic security through institutional capacity building, support to targeted sectors such as tourism, agriculture, and high-tech; and improved access to finance and investment for SMEs.
The Armenian Communications and Learning Director, based in Yerevan, is responsible for developing and leading implementation of the project's communication and learning strategy and representing the project to external audiences. Candidates should possess considerable successful experience in leading communication initiatives. Chemonics is looking for individuals with extensive private sector experience who want to work with a top tier international development company to make a positive impact on the lives of Armenians.
ОБЯЗАННОСТИ
: 
- Develop and lead the project’s communications and learning strategy and provide overall guidance, leadership;
- Work with all project stakeholders to develop communications content and facilitate knowledge sharing across USAID, partners, and other key counterparts;
- Create promotional and public outreach materials for the project, including newsletters, fact sheets, media advisories, press releases, success stories, leaflets, brochures, etc., and supervise their production and distribution;
- With support from project leadership, lead learning and knowledge management efforts by providing tools and training for the capture and sharing of lessons learned, new innovations, and best practices that can be integrated into program activity design;
- Coordinate messaging across GoA ministries and other relevant stakeholders;
- Train GoA and other relevant stakeholders on best practices in communications;
- Supervise and mentor communications staff as needed;
- Assume any other duties as assigned by the Chief of Party.
ТРЕБУЕМАЯ КВАЛИФИКАЦИЯ
: 
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field;
- At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in communications;
- Experience working on USAID funded projects and knowledge of USAID branding requirements and draft and maintain appropriate communication templates is preferred;
- Proven ability to work and collaborate with government officials, international donors, and private sector stakeholders;
- Supervisory experience is preferred;
- Strong leadership and communications skills;
- Extensive experience in marketing and managing marketing teams is preferred (for example, experience planning, directing, developing, and coordinating marketing strategies; and conducting market research to inform overall communications, marketing, and outreach strategies);
- Experience working on strategic communications in the private sector is preferred;
- Strong interpersonal, managerial, and written communication skills;
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity skills;
- Fluency in English and Armenian languages.
