JOB DESCRIPTION
: 
The Project Officer supports the Program Manager in organizing and planning project interventions and their delivery. He/she will work closely and cooperatively with all project partners, stakeholders, and beneficiaries to ensure local participation in all aspects of the project. He/she will also support Action Against Hunger in developing further responses to the needs of the local population.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: 
- Support the Program Manager and Social Inclusion Manager in the careful planning of each specific project intervention;
- Carry out training sessions and coaching on Action Against Hunger’s social inclusion approaches;
- Assist and follow up the implementation of the project activities by the project partners;
- Support in the process of identifying and selecting beneficiaries and assessing their individual needs;
- Support in the organization of awareness-raising and knowledge-building activities among the project target groups and beneficiaries;
- Liaise with companies and businesses to engage them in Corporate Volunteering and to facilitate Internships;
- Oversee Internship component;
- Ensure the M&E policies are followed during the project implementation in coordination and under the guidance of the M&E Manager;
- Facilitate strong coordination with all key stakeholders.
- Provide verbal and written reports to direct and functional managers on the progress of the project towards meeting its objectives and activities in the workplan;
- Assist the Program Manager in drafting monthly Activity Progress Reports and Project Interim and Final Reports to be submitted to the project donors;
- Ensure proper archiving of technical supporting documents and beneficiary data;
- Support in the development of training materials to be utilized;
- Support in design and production of awareness raising, information and promotional materials (booklets, posters, social media, videos etc.) that may be required;
- Provide support to Head of Base in the process of organizing meetings with local, regional and national level state and non-state stakeholders;
- Assist in the gathering and collation of all pertinent information and data on the project response to improve delivery and support the design of further interventions;
- Conduct thorough mapping of the existing private companies and agencies that provide support to business startups (incubators and accelerators);
- Create database of companies that can support future programming;
- Work together with project team, local and international experts and stakeholders to examine new opportunities for support;
- Provide recommendations to Action Against Hunger Social Inclusion Manager, Program Manager and other involved project staff for future programmatic support;
- Support in the development and drafting of future interventions and proposals to support the most vulnerable groups.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
: 
- University degree in Sociology, Psychology, Labor Studies, Economics, Business Administration, Social Work or related field;
- At least 3 years of experience of working on social inclusion, employability and entrepreneurial skills development-related projects targeting vulnerable populations;
- Background in project implementation and oversight;
- Experience in working on employability/entrepreneurial and capacity-building programming;
- Experience in preparing/designing and delivering trainings and workshops according to specific methodologies;
- Coaching and mentoring skills;
- Knowledge of corporate/business sector in Armenia;
- Knowledge of state programmes supporting social inclusion/ protection an advantage;
- Proven analytical and report writing skills;
- Organizing and planning skills;
- Motivated and goal-oriented person;
- Excellent diplomatic, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills;
- Good human relations, diplomacy, organizational and facilitation skills;
- Knowledge of humanitarian programming is an advantage;
- Desirable knowledge of humanitarian minimum standards;
- Fluency of English and Armenian languages;
- Good command of the Russian language is an asset;
- Computer skills including proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.);
- Flexible with respect to working hours, regular traveling to the program locations and fieldwork;
- Team player with a sense of professionalism and loyalty to organization;
- Ability to demonstrate value-driven attitude and integrity toward his/ her professional duties;
- Ability to demonstrate commitment towards gender equality issues;
- Motivated by humanitarian aims and flexible with respect to working hours and place of work.

REMUNERATION/ SALARY
: 
Remuneration according to AAH compensation grid.
