ОПИСАНИЕ ДОЛЖНОСТИ
: 
The South Caucasus Regional Water Management (SCRWM) Activity is a five-year project funded by USAID and meant to support effective transboundary cooperation and water management among Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia. This will set an example of successful regional cooperation on shared priorities, mitigating conflicts, and contributing to peacebuilding in the South Caucasus. This project will also concurrently achieve social, economic, environmental, and climate change objectives.
The project will implement three cross-related objectives:
- Objective 1 - Transboundary environmental and water management networks developed at various levels across the South Caucasus.
- Objective 2 - South Caucasus stakeholders take a harmonized approach to transboundary water governance.
- Objective 3 - Communities incentivized by introducing new technologies, approaches, and economic models to rationally use water in a manner that demonstrates the benefits of improved water resource utilization across boundaries.
Purpose of Assignment
The Program Operations Assistant will support the day-to-day operations of the SCRWM Armenia Team. The person selected will work closely with the Operations and Finance Lead (based in Tbilisi) to ensure the effective operations of the Program. He or she will contribute to creating the enabling environment for the project’s success report to the Armenia Country Lead.
ОБЯЗАННОСТИ
: 
The Program Operations Assistant is responsible for the following:
- Provide comprehensive administrative and operations support to the SCRWM Armenia Team, including human resources, accounting and finance, transportation and recordkeeping;
- Support the SCRWM Operations and Finance Lead (based in Tbilisi) in managing and directing financial and operational matters for the program;
- Effectively handle composing and preparing correspondence to key stakeholders with a high degree of professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality;
- Make travel arrangements including flights, hotels, transport, visas, agendas, and key contact information. Manage changes and anticipate needs. Ensure compliance of travel authorizations, documentation, and payments with established procedures;
- Manage logistics and provide support for in-person and virtual meetings;
- Support drafting and translating reports, presentations, and other documents;
- Prepare and submit expense reports;
- Collaborate and build relationships internally and externally, including communicating effectively with the team members, donors, and community representatives;
- Support meetings with internal and external stakeholders by providing ad-hoc translation, taking notes, preparing meeting materials, and following up with participants;
- Perform other duties and tasks as requested by the Armenia Country Lead or Chief of Party.
ТРЕБУЕМАЯ КВАЛИФИКАЦИЯ
: 
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, environmental management, international affairs, international development, or related fields;
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with USAID or other international organization;
- Experience working with event planning, financial management, and in a fast-paced environment;
- Experience with procurement and logistics desired;
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.

- High level of discretion and attention to confidentiality and information security. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Armenian and English;
