JOB DESCRIPTION

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Yerevan, Armenia is seeking an eligible and qualified applicant for the position of USAID Project Management Assistant (PMA) who will report to the EGO Deputy Director. The PMA will provide a full range of project management assistance and associated Global Acquisition and Assistance System (GLAAS) support, and assist the EGO team with preparing information, reporting and communications products. The PMA will provide limited administrative support including assisting with time and attendance (in the absence of the Administrative Assistant), visitor escorting, and project-related electronic and paper filing. The PMA must be organized and efficient and able to provide timely and accurate execution of duties and responsibilities. The PMA requires excellent writing and interpersonal skills, the ability to work well under pressure, the ability to follow through on work assigned without follow-up or reminders, and the ability to meet/adhere to established timeframes and deadlines. The PMA shares responsibility with Project Management Specialists in the Economic Growth Office as the first or second point of contact for USAID/Armenia to include a range of internal and external contacts including senior government officials.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
: 
- Minimum of college/ university studies in International Development, Political Science, Communications, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Natural Resources Management, and/ or other relevant fields is required;
- A minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience providing administrative assistance and/or project administrative assistance support and independently preparing and editing project-related reporting documents is required. Prior experience establishing and maintaining electronic and paper filing systems and experience with developing communication products is required. Prior experience working with an international or donor organization, or equivalent work with a civil society organization. Prior experience collecting, analyzing, and evaluating information; drafting and formatting correspondence, reports, and communication products;
- Level IV (fluent) for reading, speaking and writing in English and native fluency in Armenian is required.
