JOB DESCRIPTION
: 
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the implementation of quality management systems, procedures, and processes to maintain the highest standards of product quality and compliance. This role plays a pivotal part in leading the quality assurance team, managing audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality and customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: 
- Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's quality management system to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations;
- Lead and manage the quality assurance team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a high level of competence and efficiency within the department;
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and assessments to monitor and evaluate compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, research and development, and supply chain, to address quality-related issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement;
- Oversee the development and implementation of quality control measures, testing protocols, and inspection procedures to safeguard product quality;
- Manage and respond to customer feedback, complaints, and inquiries related to product quality, ensuring prompt investigation, resolution, and communication;
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality metrics, analyze data, and prepare reports to measure and report on the effectiveness of the quality management system;
- Ensure that all employees are trained in quality-related procedures, protocols, and standards to maintain a culture of quality awareness and adherence;
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in quality assurance methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
: 
- Master’s (Bachelor's) degree or higher in Quality Management, Engineering, Microbiology, or a related field;
- 3 years of progressive experience in quality assurance, including the food industry;
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards;
- Proven experience in leading and managing a quality assurance team;
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills;
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of driving change and improvement initiatives;
- Certified FSMS professional, based on ISO 22000:2018;
- Ability to perform tasks that may require standing, walking, and lifting as needed.
