JOB DESCRIPTION

People in Need (PIN) is looking for a Distribution Manager. The Distribution Manager primarily focuses on the identification and implementation of distribution activities in Armenia, ensures quality programming that responds to the needs of vulnerable people. He/ she is expected to continually validate and adopt the operation to field reality. The incumbent also ensures strong collaboration and coordination with other stakeholders, such as local administration and other actors involved in the sector activities. He/ she may represent PIN in the cluster and sub-cluster meetings at the national/ regional levels if required. The Distribution Manager reports to the Emergency Program Manager based in Yerevan and works closely with other relevant PIN Managers and Coordinators. The Distribution Manager represents PIN in coordination with stakeholders such as local administration and other actors involved in the sector activities. He/ she may represent PIN in the cluster and sub-cluster meetings at the national/ regional levels if required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: 
- Plan and implement the project distributions in collaboration with the Program Manager;
- Manage field Coordinators in Yerevan and Goris and supervise the implementation of the project distributions;
- Ensure timely collection and analysis of beneficiary data from all implementation regions for planning and reporting;
- In coordination with the Project Manager design SOP’s for distribution activities;
- Assist in ensuring that project activities are aligned with donor commitments, humanitarian standards, with sensitivity to the needs of program beneficiaries;
- Continuously inform the management about progress in project implementation, prepare reports about the situation in field;
- Ensure project activities continue in the absence of the Program Manager;
- Collect relevant information from local communities;
- Assist field staff in meetings with beneficiaries as part of ad-hoc monitoring;
- Support Program Manager in meetings with representatives of authorities, other NGOs, clusters/ UN;
- Provide assistance to the implementing partners (i.e. local administration, community groups);
- Archive acquired and entrusted documents and materials in a proper manner;
- Take on other job-related duties when assigned by the Program Manager.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
: 
- Bachelor’s degree;
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience;
- Experience in implementing humanitarian/ development projects;
- Knowledge of English language.

People in Need (PIN) in the Czech Republic based NGO working in relief and development sectors. Present in Armenia since 2003, PIN has been focusing on issues of illegal migration, repatriation assistance to returnees and prevention of child trafficking, and more recently, job creation and support to small businesses and tourism.
