JOB DESCRIPTION
: 
DACOC is seeking to recruit an Executive Director to join a DACOC team and to organize and oversee the daily business operations of the Foundation. The incumbent will ensure that the company’s business is well-coordinated and productive by managing its procedures and report to the Chairman of DACOC and other leadership teams within an organization. This activity is to be carried out under the management of the Dutch Armenian Chamber of Commerce. The first 2 months will consist of a desk review, remote research, and development of tools and methodologies for the representatives of the Embassy and DACOC. The resulting reports would be completed during a period no longer than 2 months.
Scope of main duties:
- Create a prospective strategic plan for the further effective operation and clearly describe the realistic steps to implement the right processes and practices across the organization, facilitate accelerating development and long-term success;
- Liaise with superior to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals;
- To monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: 
- Explore the current target collaboration sectors and sub-sectors of the Armenian economy, which are the most exploited of Dutch- Armenian cooperation, identify new sectors that have the potential of common interest and promising mutually beneficial cooperation in the future;
- Study the successful stories and recorded results, as well as the existing trade turnover between the two countries, the active role of bilateral chambers in promoting and developing this cooperation;
- Review and discuss membership terms and support available to members;
- Promote DACOC member network expansion;
- Organize meetings and discussions with the members of the Chamber, inventory their proposals and possible solutions to achieve progress and move forward;
- Organize Dutch-Armenian business days to contribute the expansion of business environment’s cooperation on both sides;
- Explore their interests and expectations of working with the Chamber;
- Study the state support programs of the Dutch government, select projects available to Armenia, and offer members specific package solutions with financial and technological instruments in accordance with their expectations presented;
- Establish the close partnership with Dutch chamber of commerce and work towards the expansion of cooperation;
- Explore relations/ cooperation between bilateral chambers operating in Armenia and the public sector/ government;
- Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way;
- Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices;
- Manage budgets and forecasts;
- Perform quality controls and monitor provided services, implement best practices across all levels;
- Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant;
- Mentor and coach the team members;
- Develop a process improvement strategy to ensure that everyone completes their tasks on time.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
: 
- University degree preferably in economics, management and statistics;
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role;
- Experience collecting and managing statistical data and analysis;
- Experience working with business community, state departments and governments;
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management, leadership ability;
- Experience budgeting and forecasting;
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills, stress resistance, ability to comply with deadlines, analytical thinking, ability to work in a team;
- Fluency in spoken and written Armenian and English, knowledge of other foreign languages will be considered an advantage;
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Social media, Analytics, Email communication, Marketing automation, Data visualization, etc.
