JOB DESCRIPTION
: 
The Emerging Voices (EV) Assistant (Exchanges and English Language programs) works under the direct supervision of the EV Specialist and has no supervisory responsibilities. Coordinates the logistics and recruitment for Mission's exchange programs for youth and communities that are not included in traditional U.S. diplomatic engagement, such as civil society groups and populations vulnerable to extremist appeals.
Assists Mission PD English language, education and American Studies outreach to EV audiences, reaching youth, minorities and those who influence them through English teaching and learning programs. Coordinates the logistics, recruitment and administration of both in-person and virtual English language teaching and leaning projects and activities as well as activities relate to post-initiated grant projects in education, American studies, youth, and culture. Coordinates outreach through digital networks. Collaborates with alumni coordinator on activities for EV exchanges alumni.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
: 
- A university degree in international relations, public relations, American studies, English, education, intercultural/multicultural studies or local equivalent is required;
- Experience: (Full Performance) FSN 08 - A minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in a multilingual, multicultural, or multinational work environment is required, with project management, marketing, public relations, communication, or education duties as a significant part of the job. Experience with using social media accounts and marketing to reach specific audiences is required.
(Trainee Level) FSN 07 - A minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in a multilingual, multicultural, or multinational work environment is required, with project management, marketing, public relations, communication, or education duties as a significant part of the job. Experience with using social media accounts and marketing to reach specific audiences is required;
- Level IV Armenian (Fluent) speaking, reading/ writing is required (this may be tested);
- Level IV English (Fluent) speaking, reading/ writing is required (this may be tested).
