JOB DESCRIPTION : 

ClinStatDevice is looking for a Senior Statistician/ Data Analyst to join its team. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, highly productive and accountable person, ready to work independently and create new models for analyzing complex relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES : 

- Develop clear and well-structured analysis plans;
- Lead the design and development of the analytical studies;
- Write, modify and debug R programs;
- Facilitate R based code and solution operationalization;
- Provide statistical, R programming expertise;
- Clean and analyze survey data using R; work in a team to manage data collection; conduct descriptive analysis, and create custom, reproducible reports;
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : 

- University degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Economics, Mathematics or a related field; PhD degree is preferred;
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis;
- Excellent knowledge of R programming;
- Experience with statistical inference and regression analysis;
- Knowledge of English language.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in advanced regression analysis, mixed-effect modelling, non-linear modelling, survival analysis, and Bayesian statistics;
- Experience with large administrative databases such as health care claims survey or personnel data;
- Experience with traditional supervised machine learning algorithms;
- Excellent knowledge of English language;
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines;
- Team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
