ОПИСАНИЕ ДОЛЖНОСТИ
: 
UNICEF is looking for a motivated and experienced individual to support programme by carrying out a range of procedural, administrative, and operational tasks, helping to develop, implement and monitor country programme activities, ensuring timely and effective delivery that is consistent with UNICEF rules and regulations.
The support provided by the Programme Assistant therefore will create the strongest possible administrative platform from which the country programme can then be delivered.
The key results have an impact on the overall performance of the country office and success in the implementation of programme activities.
The Programme Assistant will directly report to the Planning and Monitoring Officer and also will support office with the supply function.
ОБЯЗАННОСТИ
: 
- Facilitate the processing of contracts for consultants, vendors and external partners that support the office in programme delivery. Responsible for collecting invoices and filing documents for approval and thereafter processing;
- Prepare and maintain records, documents and control plans for the monitoring of project/ programme implementation and financial expenditures;
- Maintain office calendar and arrange meetings. Take minutes of meetings and keep the correspondence of the team well organized;
- Provide travel assistance to the respective section partners and staff members for travel arrangements and entitlements based on the Organization's rules and policies;
- Support capacity development activities, meetings and conferences by making the logistical arrangements;
- Receive supply requisitions, ensuring accuracy of specifications of items, and confirm availability of funds. Monitor assigned requisitions to ensure completion of procurement actions in a timely manner;
- Ensure continuous availability of data related to procurement, including forecasting, requisitions received, orders placed, incoming goods, actual delivery schedules. Prepare periodic reports, and ad-hoc reports as needed;
- Draft submissions to Contract Review Committee.
ТРЕБУЕМАЯ КВАЛИФИКАЦИЯ
: 
- Education: Completion of secondary education, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the work of the Organization.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible administrative or clerical work experience.
Languages:
- Fluency in Armenian and English languages; knowledge of another official UN language, such as Russian, is an asset.
Required Skills:
- Strong organizational, planning and prioritizing skills and abilities;
- High sense of confidentiality, initiative and good judgment;
- Ability to work effectively with people of different national and cultural backgrounds;
- Training and experience using MS Word, MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint;
- Strong office management skills.
Desired Skills:
- General knowledge of UN administrative policies and procedures;
- Experience of using SharePoint, SAP.
