Background
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI) awarded Dexis Consulting Group (Dexis) with the "EXploratory Pilot and Learning Options for Regional Efficiency” (EXPLORE) Europe Task Order. As a part of this Task Order, USAID/OTI established the Armenia Support Engagement, a fast-paced engagement in Armenia that supports Armenia’s democratic government and other stakeholders as the country contends with the fallout of the recent Nagorno-Karabakh crisis. The Engagement began in December 2023 and implements for a 14-month period.
Purpose
The Armenia Support Engagement seeks to provide the Government of Armenia (GoAM) with crisis communications response support to increase proactive crisis management capabilities. Building on the political will within the GoAM to strengthen proactive, citizen-centered strategic communications capabilities, the Armenia Support Engagement will provide the Office of the Prime Minister with crisis communications planning and execution. As part of the support, the Armenia Support Engagement will procure the services of an Administrative Coordinator (local consultant) to provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to international strategic communications experts and to the Strategic Communications Coordinator within the Office of the Prime Minister.
Management of the Assignment
The Administrative Coordinator will report to the Strategic Communications Coordinator within the Office of the Prime Minister and ASE Senior Program Development Manager while working in close cooperation with the ASE program staff.
ОБЯЗАННОСТИ
: 
Provide overall administrative and coordination support to international strategic communications experts and to the Strategic Communications Coordinator within the Office of the Chief of Staff, such as:
- Coordinating communications, written and/or verbal, for administrative tasks under the direction of the international strategic communications experts and Strategic Communications Coordinator;
- Providing minor translation from Armenian into English and/or English into Armenian, as requested;
- Making daily logistical arrangements for ground transportation within Yerevan, including tracking logistics invoices;
- Scheduling meetings and appointments, including time, date, location, and attendees in close coordination with the Strategic Communications Coordinator;
- Maintaining a detailed calendar or schedule of meetings and appointments and tracking meetings and appointments to ensure attendance;
- Taking detailed notes/minutes during meetings, as requested;
- Running design and printing, photocopying and reproduction, postage and courier, and/or document translation, as requested;
- Conducting small-scale procurements with the support of the Armenia Support Engagement Operations Team, if directed;
- Supporting logistics coordination for events, such as trainings and/or workshops, if requested, and with the support of the Armenia Support Engagement Operations Team;
- Other relevant tasks per the Office of the Prime Minister and/or ASE request and USAID/OTI approval.
Illustrative Deliverables
- Translated documents from Armenian into English and/or English into Armenian;
- Detailed notes/minutes from meetings and other relevant events;
- Documents related to logistical arrangements, including logistics invoices;
- Updated and detailed calendar or schedule of meetings and appointments;
- Documents pertaining to small-scale procurements;
- Other deliverables per the Office of the Prime Minister and/or ASE request.
ТРЕБУЕМАЯ КВАЛИФИКАЦИЯ
: 
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent university degree. Advanced degree preferred;
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience;
- Experience with supporting operations and administration for a USAID or other donor-funded program;
- Ability to ensure compliance with USAID and Dexis policies, procedures, and regulations;
- Ability to prioritize and manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced work environment;
- Strong written and oral communication skills;
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to work in a diverse team environment;
- Display creative problem solving in addressing and resolving emerging needs;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer applications;
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Armenian.
