The Intern will have the opportunity to support all the GIZ Armenia Country Office departments with a wide range of duties, such as updating documents, organising internal events, supporting with Corporate Sustainability activities, communications and other tasks. The intern will have the opportunity to learn about various activities of the organisation.
- Assist with drafting and updating documents; - Research and provide input for a variety of communication formats, including but not limited to web content, minutes, event briefings; - Support in designing and coordinating internal events such as workshops, training, meetings, townhalls and event management logistics; - Support to prepare presentations (pptx) and tables (excel); - Assist with the development of sustainability reports and metrics; - Collaborate with the corporate sustainability teams to implement sustainability initiatives; - Support the development and execution of sustainability communications and strategies; - Assist with tracking and analysing sustainability performance data; - Assist with translation, printing, scanning and filing as well as digital filing of documents; - Support the HR processes; - Assist in identifying office needs and in procurement of stationery and other items; - Perform other job-related duties and tasks when requested.
- Student of at least 3rd year of studies for a university degree in a relevant subject; - Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, teamwork and administrative skills; - Have and/ or further invest in acquiring knowledge of collaborative and agile methods as well as upskill and strive to learn and contribute to the team’s and organization’s success; - Strong written and verbal communication skills both in English and Armenian; - Knowledge of German is an asset; - Good working knowledge of ITC technologies (related software, phone, e-mail and in-ternet) and computer applications, such as MS Office (in particular Word and Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams); - Familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign would be an asset; - Experience and ability in working with digital media.
